Supplies

Stay tuned for an out of order entry called Arrival in Bwera. Somehow it just got lost.

Today Robina and I went to Kasese for workshop supplies and donations to the school. Wilson - one of Nelson's right hand men - shared breakfast with me and escorted me by foot and boda to the school. We passes this vibrant display of corn drying in the sun.

On the road between Bwera and Kasese this is a sneaky glimpse of activity at a trading centre. Women carry and sell their wares, men make deals, play games, and watch the world go by.

The camera is like a weapon - people refuse you a picture if you ask. They say a photo costs $100.00. I have become somewhat sneaky.

The students are inarguably happy for a photo. We delivered a couple of clocks, workshop supplies and a Ugandan flag. Yesterday I donated the Yamaha keyboard, guitar strings and various whistles for the music program, plus 50 kg of cassava flour for the school food.

Here are the girls in their uniforms:

With love from Jen
