The Imperial Botanical Gardens

On the trail was this notebook, likely dropped from one of the school buses. I think this student visited the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre before taking a lunch rest in the gardens.





Guava fruit!


Ted purchased a mango tree for the Jane Goodall Institute at this corner nursery.


Brian shows me that the mango tree is grafted to a common root that will grow anywhere. Grafting gives the mango tree the best chance for survival. Fruit is expected in 1.5 years.


and we planted the tree at the Jane Goodall Institute.
