Tables are set with teaching method binders, environmental education resource books, and pens. JGI posters are on the walls...little did we know that tape doesn't work in the tropics! Teachers arrived from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Participants will receive a 40,000 USh transportation refund, a forest walk, 3 meals and 3 snacks daily, a JGI t-shirt, accommodation, a certificate, and four huge days of learning. The funds for this workshop came entirely from donations made in Victoria and Calgary. Thank you, everyone!
One icebreaker was a balloon game where players had to keep the balloon afloat without letting go of each other. You can see the teachers' dedication,
compassion,
and humor :)
Participants raced to match environmental vocabulary with meanings composed by their peers.
Uganda's environmental future is brighter already!
